Who we are
Clover Community Church is a Bible based, nondenominational church located at 1521 Jim McCarter Road, Clover, South Carolina 29710. In this policy, “Clover,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Clover Community Church.
Information we collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request prayer, register for an event, volunteer, join a community group, or submit another website form. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, ministry interests, prayer request, and the content of your message.
Our website and hosting providers may also collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as an IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs.
How we use information
We use information to respond to requests, provide pastoral care, coordinate ministries and events, process registrations, maintain website security, troubleshoot technical issues, understand general site usage, and improve our communications and services. We do not sell personal information.
Google and YouTube data
Our website uses Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API to connect to the official Clover Community Church YouTube channel. After an authorized church administrator grants access, the integration may read channel, video, livestream, scheduled broadcast, and completed broadcast metadata. This includes information such as video and broadcast identifiers, titles, thumbnails, publication dates, scheduled start times, and actual stream start or end times.
We use this data only to identify whether the church is live, display upcoming services, and present completed sermons or worship videos on our website and mobile experiences. The integration does not receive the administrator’s Google password. OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored as protected server-side secrets and are not included in the public website or mobile application.
Google and YouTube data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties. It may be processed by service providers that host or operate the website solely as necessary to provide the integration. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Donations and payment information
Online giving is provided through Subsplash or another designated payment provider. Payment information is submitted directly to that provider and is governed by its privacy and security practices. Clover Community Church does not receive or store your complete payment-card number through this website.
Third-party services and links
Our pages may contain embedded content or links to services such as YouTube, Google, Subsplash, Facebook, Instagram, app stores, maps, or other ministry tools. When you interact with those services, their privacy policies and terms apply. We encourage you to review them before providing personal information.
How we share information
We may share information with church staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and service providers when reasonably necessary to respond to you or operate church ministries and the website. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or legal rights, or to investigate misuse of our services. We do not rent or sell personal information.
Data retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the ministry or operational purpose for which it was collected, to meet legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. Technical logs and cached YouTube metadata may be retained for shorter operational periods. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information that you previously provided, subject to legal and ministry recordkeeping requirements. You may revoke the church integration’s access to your Google account at any time from the Google Account permissions page. Revoking access may prevent livestream and sermon information from updating automatically.
Children’s privacy
Our general website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian involvement. Parents or guardians who believe a child has submitted information may contact us to request its deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or services change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Material updates will be posted on this page.
