Christopher Blay, Teaching Pastor at Clover Community Church, holds a Master’s in Theology and a PhD in Bible Exposition from Liberty University. Born in Ghana, he encountered Christ at 15, beginning a lifelong journey of faith and leadership. In high school, he mentored and led over 100 youths in prayers and scripture studies as a leader of the Scripture Union group. After high school, Christopher moved to Maryland, serving in various church roles, and ultimately becoming a Lead Pastor in 2017. In 2021, he relocated to North Carolina to assist a church transitioning from a cultic background. He now pastors Clover Community Church, a new church plant in South Carolina. Christopher is married and has four children: three daughters and a son. In addition to his pastoral role, he works as a Senior Executive Advisor on Technology and Innovation for a leading U.S. tech company.

Michael is a passionate worship leader with a heart for creating an atmosphere where people can connect deeply with God. With years of experience in leading worship in various church settings, Michael brings a unique blend of musical talent, creativity, and spiritual depth to every service. He’s committed to helping others experience the presence of God through authentic and heartfelt worship. Beyond the stage, Michael is dedicated to mentoring and discipling worship team members, encouraging them to grow in their faith and musical abilities. Outside of church, he is a husband and a girl dad of three who enjoys traveling, great food, and traveling with friends.

Joshua Boyce joined Clover Community Church just one month after its planting and has played a vital role in its ministry. As Youth Pastor, Josh is passionate about teaching God’s Word and nurturing the spiritual growth of the church’s youth. Known for his attentive listening and genuine care, he creates a supportive environment where young people feel valued and encouraged in their faith journey. Prior to joining Clover Community Church, Josh served as a youth leader at his previous church, where he honed his leadership skills and developed a heart for ministry. His experience also includes mission work, which deepened his commitment to serving others. Josh’s dedication and love for God continue to inspire the church’s youth ministry.

Naomi Boateng is a passionate educator and devoted member of the church community, with a heart for teaching and inspiring the next generation. Currently serving as an elementary teacher at Gaston Christian School, Naomi combines faith-based principles with academic excellence to nurture young minds and guide them in their spiritual and personal growth. Naomi is actively involved in the children’s ministry, reflecting a steadfast commitment to serving others. Naomi is honored to be part of a church community that values education, discipleship, and service, and is grateful for the chance to contribute to God’s kingdom through teaching.

Ashley Carroll is a devoted mother of four daughters and a dedicated leader with a heart for children’s ministry. With a diverse professional background, she has worked as a bank teller, teaching assistant at Griggs Road Elementary School in Clover, SC, and now serves as a school secretary and Bookkeeper, focusing on creating nurturing environments for children. Ashley’s passion for ministry extends to her musical gifts, having been a church pianist for over 20 years. As the Children’s Ministry Lead at Clover Community Church, she combines her love for teaching, music, and faith to guide young hearts toward Christ. Ashley’s dedication to family, education, and ministry reflects her commitment to serving God and making a lasting impact on the next generation.
