Core Beliefs

The ultimate goal of this church is to glorify God in all that we do and to be a shining example of His love and grace in the world. The Church seeks to achieve this goal through worship, teaching of the Scriptures, prayers, consistent Christian living by its members, personal evangelism, missionary endeavor and Christian education. - (Ephesians 1:5-14; Matthew 5:16; 1 Peter 2:9-12).

Statements of Faith

THE BIBLE

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

GOD

God is one, eternally existing and revealed to humankind as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)

HUMANKIND

Humanity, created in God's image, fell from grace through sin and disobedience.
(Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 5:12)

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ, the Son was fully God and fully man, came to defeat death and reconcile us to the Father.
(Philippians 2:5-8; 1 Corinthians 15:14) 

SALVATION

Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ. All who believe in Him are justified through His obedience.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:19)

NEW BIRTH

All who place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are born again as God's children and heirs of eternal life.
(John 3:3-6; Romans 8:17)

DISCIPLESHIP AND EVANGELISM

All followers of Christ are encouraged to be devoted to His teaching and to spread the gospel to all the nations.
(Matthew 28:16-20)

THE CHURCH

The Church is the visible representation of the kingdom of God, whose mission is to advance God's kingdom on earth.
(Acts 20:28; Ephesians 4:11-12)

ORDINANCES

The ordinances of the Church, given by the Lord, are Baptism and the Lord's Table (Communion).
(Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
